Jonathan Blair is an animator currently based in Dundee, Scotland. Previously he has worked on The Oscar nominated feature film 'The Illusionist' and the BAFTA Scotland award winning short animation 'The Happy Duckling'. His own film 'A hundred and forty suns' was nominated for Best Animation at the Royal Television Society Scotland Student awards. Freelance work includes commissions for Blast Design, designing and animating creatures to be projected throughout 'The Enchanted Forest' and instructional animation for the upcoming phone app 'Popcorn Horror'. He has also recently collaborated on a documentary dealing with issues surrounding depression. In addition, Jonathan has experience animating biological phenomena and visualizing complex engineering technology, as a way to communicate ideas in both an educational and industrial environment.
